Obvius Access are currently commissioned to provide a Personal Emergency Plan (PEEPs) for Life Without Barriers , 3 Philips Street,  Goonellabah,  NSW

Obvius Access are currently commissioned to provide an Access Report for Construction Certificate application compliance  for Alterations and additions to existing kitchen manufacturing/Showroom and associated on-site parking at 71-73 Davies Road, Padstow,  NSW 

Obvius Access were commissioned by Mackenzie International Architects, to undertake  Access Reports of the proposed multi-storey residential Class 2 developments located on:

  • 522-524 Pacific Highway, Mt. Colah, NSW. 
  • 526-528 Pacific Highway, Mt  Colah, NSW. 
  • 31-35 Heath Ave, Asquith, NSW. 

For the Development Application of a Class 2 multi storey residential building. The ‘Public Building and Common Areas’ which must comply with the Building Code of Australia/Access Code and The Disability (Access to Premises - Buildings) Standards 2010 (the Premises Standards). Secondly comply with relevant the local councils current  DCP  requirements covering ‘Adaptable Dwellings’ which must comply with the adaptable housing standard AS 4299:1995.

access report Palm Beach Wharf  

Obvius Access was commissioned by Pittwater Council to provide support to Outline Planning Consultants to undertake an Access Desktop Appraisal and Access Statement Report of a proposal Wharf Upgrade at Palm Beach NSW. This report offers advice in regards to developing the design to incorporate improved levels of accessibility for people with disabilities and thereby reduce the risk to the client of complaint under Disability Discrimination Laws at both State and Federal

Access Report 5 Newheath Drive

This access appraisal was for the purpose of Trevor J Allen Architects on behalf of McKinnon Pty. Ltd, to prioritise and recommend actions for the proposed second floor access to Tenancy 1 at 5 Newheath Drive, Arundel, Qld.

 

lords Avenue access audit Sydney

 

To provide  a Desktop Appraisal and Adaptable Housing DA Compliance Submission for 6-12 Lords Avenue, Asquith, Sydney, NSW for Mackenzie Architects to meet the intent of the Disability (Access to Premise-Buildings) Standards 2010 , Australian Standard AS.1428.1 2009, Australian Adaptable Housing Standard AS.2499.1995 Classification C and The Hornsby Council requirements for Adaptable housing

 

Canundra school access solution 

 

Obvius Access Consultants were commissioned to provide an Alternative Solution by Akela Constructions Pty Ltd, following a request from Canundra State School, QLD for an alternative layout of the toilet facility. The layout is designed for assisted use to meet  the needs of students with high supports needs

 

Towoomba action plan

 

Obvius Access were commission by Toowoomba Regional Council to provide Access Consultancy services in for the provision of theToowoomba Community Plan 2015-2020 Project .The Action Plan will undoubtedly make a major contribution towards maintaining and improving the future lifestyle of everyone throughout the whole region and we are extremely pleased to have been part of its development process

 

Access Report Abercrombie St

 

Obvius Access was commissioned by Markham Lee Architecture to undertake an Access Report of the proposed alterations and additions to an existing mixed use building classifications consisting of Class 2 and 5 buildings located on Abercrombie St, Chippendale, NSW. This report was provided for the purpose of a Construction Certificate in regard to a mixed use commercial and residential building. Accordingly the report was divided into two sections. Firstly ‘Public Building and Common Areas’ which would comply with the Building Code of Australia and The Disability (Access to Premises - Buildings) Standards 2010 (the Premises Standards). Secondly  ‘Adaptable Housing Checklist’ which would comply with the Adaptable housing standard AS 4299:1995

Alternative solutions for access for proposed cafe - Organism located at 288 Crown St, Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW. This assessment was based on information received from business owner of the premises Jeeyoung Shin in the form of Approval Stamped drawings showing the floor plan and elevations for the premises at 288 Crown St and photographs of the front elevation of the building which are the sole items this compliance exemption covers. Additional discussions have taken place with Shane Kelly of Sydney City Council

Child Care Access Report

Obvius Access Consultants have been commissioned by the Business Director of Rise and Shine Kindy to provide an Alternative Solution for stairs and handrails in the managers office. An  Alternative solution will meet the Performance Requirements if it is shown to be at least an equivalent of the DTS provisions or a Combination of both the Performance Requirements and DTS provisions of the BCA

Obvius Access has been commissioned to undertake an initial site appraisal and prepare a brief Access Report of Southport Sharks Club of the existing general public areas of the Club, The Fitness Centre, the car parking, and the resultant interfaces of the roads and pathways. This brief appraisal offers advice in regards to future incorporation of improved levels of accessibility for people with disabilities and thereby reduce the risk to the client of complaint under Disability Discrimination Laws at both State and Federal Level.

 

Redfern Mosque access audit 

 

Redfern Mosque is located on Cleveland St, Surry Hills. The building is a historic building which was originally built during the Edwardian Era between1901 to 1919. Obvius Access Consultants were commissioned to provide an Access Report with an Alternative Solution by the Committee of Redfern Mosque. an Alternative Solution will meet the Performance Requirements if it shown to be at least an equivalent of the Deemed to satisfy’ (DTS) provisions or a combination of both the Performance Requirements and DTS provisions of the Build Code of Australia.

Obvius Access were commissioned by Brandt Homes to undertake a site appraisal and prepare an Access Audit Report of the ground floor modifications, the proposed carparking, and the resultant interfaces of the Golden Gate Resort. A review of the following drawings was undertaken in September 2014 and the following report prepared

 

Big brother access report
